Tomorrow Has Come

I guess last week's "tomorrow" really meant "6 days from now."

It's been kind of a crazy (a.k.a. frustrating) week. For those of you who think that I magically grew wings and a halo as I traveled across the ocean, you should probably stop reading. In fact, I'm pretty sure that living overseas can bring out the ugliest sides of a person....selfishness, pride, short-tempers, crying for no apparent reason (in which case, I just don't do in the States),rebelliousness, insecurities, etc., etc., etc. I continually ask myself, "When did I become such a horrible person?", but am reminded of the fact that I've always been that way, I just seem to do a better job of disguising it in the States. Hmmm.

So, after the phone company decides to give my phone number to some random man, therefore shutting down my phone for about 4 days and using up all of my minutes for when I do actually get it back in working order, then my computer decides to flip out and get some random virus that shuts it down for another 4 days. After that, my body decided it had had enough and I came down with strept throat (which I'm still trying to get over now). But since I had no way of calling or emailing or communicating with anyone in the outside world about how terrible my life had become, I threw a pity-party for myself (in between sleeping 6 hours a day and 12 hours a night), knowing that one day life would return to the way it once was. I'm just hoping that next time trials come my way, I won't be.

Grace, grace, God's grace....
