A Letter

Dear Sir,

I know that in this culture it is perfectly acceptable for you (or anyone of your gender) to relieve yourself on the side of the road...or against a wall...or near a ditch...or...wherever you would like at any given time in this place. It didn't take much time for me to learn what was happening and now, without even blinking, I pass by unscathed by this cultural phenomenon.

Still, I would kindly like to ask, WHY is it acceptable for you to hold one nostril and blow out all your snot onto the side of the road, clearly while innocent people (like myself) are walking right next to you and watching this all unfold????? Furthermore, WHY is this acceptable and blowing your nose with a kleenex in a room with other people is clearly not OK?

I'm not trying to change your culture. I'm simply asking, WHY?
