I watched an episode of Grey's Anatomy online tonight. Personally, I believe the writing for that show to be some of the best. Not to mention the amazing people who consistently choose the perfect music for the dramatic and not-so-dramatic moments at Seattle Grace. (Confessional: I'm a bit jealous of their job, but I'll try not to hold that against them.)
Anyway, there was a song on this aforementioned episode that grabbed my attention. Afterwards I googled it, found the lyrics and artist, and then went immediately to iTunes and made my purchase.
The song is called 'Broken' (by Lifehouse) and I find it completely fitting for where I'm at in my journey right now. (I'd encourage you to look it up and download it.)
Broken...yet clinging to His promises...holding on to hope...allowing Him to heal.
I know Him to be good and I believe it's often in our pain that the deep things of our faith are being worked out.
It's just a hard process getting there.
