Yesterday I got to take S & M out to SZ village with me. S, you may recognize from some of my 'photo booth' pics in earlier posts. She works in Ktown and is here visiting for the week. M, is our guest for 3 weeks, checking out our projects and considering work here in the future. They both made great company and were a hit with the villagers--especially the kids!
This next picture is one of my new favorites. You should click on it to get a better view. I love the black chadored covered woman sitting in the midst of the rugged terrain of this nation. I wonder what she was thinking about...

great pix! Glad things are going well and you have company for awhile :)
The landscape scene is a great photo. You may just be a geographer some day.
Noel-Glad you liked them and yes, I'm enjoying the company.
Bearded-I'm not sure I'll ever be *that* cool. If anything, maybe an anthropologist, seeing as how out of that entire picture, it's that lone soul sitting by herself that captures my attention.
You should read Yi-fu Tuan's "Topophilia" and "Space and Place" (or at least skim them as I have).
Bearded--Umm, yeah, I'll be sure and add those to my book list when I'm back in the States. They sound *rivoting.*
