So I haven't been here that long. Not even a full week, when I think about it. But yesterday at the coffeeshop I saw this girl wearing a skirt over her khakis and thought it looked cute.
This morning, I put on a skirt that falls at my calves and...jeans. I looked in the mirror and thought, "Should I really think this is cute, just 6 days after my arrival into this country?" I asked H and she said she didn't even think twice about it. Hmmm.
I'm thinking I should write "InStyle" magazine and see what they say.

Once again, you live halfway around the world, with limited resources, and you still remain one of my best fashion/style mentors!
One time my friend L tried to convince me to wear a skirt over jeans totally against my will...if I only would have known that she would have to go to the other side of the world before she thought it was cute enough to wear...hmmmm:)

I am far from being a style mentor, but Little J...you TOTALLY could have pulled it off! It was the combination of the outfit...not so much just the idea of wearing a skirt over jeans (as in my case).
I love you girls! PLEASE don't let me get behind in the fashion world! :)
