I remember a professor of mine from college saying that there are certain books that he re-reads on a yearly basis. Spiritual classics, if you will. They were titles like: A Celebration of Discipline, The Pursuit of God, etc.
Well, this week I re-read "Blue Like Jazz" and I was thinking that that's a title that should be added to my list of annual reads. It was like catching up with an old friend. One who makes you laugh and think all at the same time.
I was also thinking that Donald Miller and I should get married. Of course, he'd have to change his name. (The first one.) Either that, or let me call him "D." He seems like the kind of guy who would be OK with that.
I'm sure if he knew me, we would make a great match.
So D, if you are reading this...call me. :)

Nothing says "true love' like asking somebody to change their name!
Donald Miller?! What about your Starbucks boy?--how's he going to take this? And wasn't there something about Mr. Pujols along the way?
Maybe you're just exploring your options since they're all in agreement with the "red-haired-ditz" theory.
I think I am going to make it my mission to get ahold of him and give him your number!! :) I enjoyed that book too...we are discussing it in my small group. Interesting conversations have come of this book.
okay I just found a few sites for you to check out. :)

I am going to write to him and ask him....something...
we will see :)
Pete: My thoughts exactly!
Bearded: I'm sure Starbucks Boy will be heart broken, but I think he'll get over it. Albert, well, he's already married. (It was something said in the heat of the moment, I'm sure.)
And I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "they're all in agreement with your red-haired-ditz theory?" (Please explain your reasoning behind this.)
Besides, it's probably more, "Let me think like a *man* and keep my options open" theory than it is anything to do with hair color.
AND...
NOEL-Remember...I have dirt on you too! (And I'm not afraid to use it!)
Hey friend! I've been thinkin about ya. Miss you!
